Coronavirus might have us all begging for affordable healthcare. Who would have guessed it.

Lots of people will vote Democratic to punish the Repub Senators for letting a criminal go unpunished. It will be nice to once again have a Blue House and Senate 😏😏😃

Maybe a "ditch digger" will preform brain surgery on you someday....since everyone is worth the same amount of money.

The horrors of VA care for all Americans. Makes perfect sense.

Where are our doctors going to go? Maybe they will quit and become ditch diggers.

1048, how can you be sure we would have the same doctors? Have you seen the reimbursement rates Medicare and Medicaid pay providers? On top of that, how can you put a cap on how much a doctor can make? Not everyone has the intelligence or the stomach to work in the medical field. If you want the best and brightest providing your healthcare the pay has to be worthwhile or they will make their careers elsewhere.
Also, the OP cannot vote for Bernie unless he wins the Dem primary and I'm not sure the DNC will allow that to happen.

How easy it is to forget. It was a republican President who signed abortion into law.

And like I said, universal medical care is coming, like it or not.

Most of them. Besides, like I said, we don't have to have the same system as Canada has. What is going to change about our medical services? We still have the same doctors, the same hospitals and the same equipment. Nothing will change except more American citizens will get medical treatment. The system we have now just don't work for all Americans.

Medical care is going to cost. That is a reality. This is a moral issue not a money issue. However, over all an American citizen will say money on universal healthcare and every citizen will have medical care. Universal healthcare is coming, get use to the idea.

I didn't say it was bad. I'm saying it's not free like people seem to think. It's actually quite expensive.

What did I lie about? These are statements from Canadians. I would think they know.

Why do you insist on lying? Canada has a pretty good medical system. Anyway, our system don't have to be like Canada's. We can use Canada's problems and improve our system. Why do you want a healthcare system that 20% of Americans can't afford to use? Based on that, Canada's system is a lot better then the one we have now.

Bernie says in order to have government healthcare for all tax payers would have to pay 52 percent of their income in taxes. Meaning if minimum wage was 15.00 an hour a person would be making less than 7.20 per hour after taxes. That's less than minimum wage now.

Canadian healthcare. Cost single person: $6,000 year. Family $12,000 year. Pays around 70%. Queues, sometimes 12 months or longer, for non emergency procedures and scans. Much less equipment. Canada is in need of 4,000 new doctors.

I think investments in the healthcare industry is why we have the treatments and procedures that we have. If no country in the world had people investing in healthcare then where would we be. Still in the dark ages?
