Liver pudding has a smoother texture than liver mush, liver mush has a grittier texture. Aunt Flo The Neese's liver pudding is in the meat section at walmart beside the glass door coolers with all the frozen Tyson food.

Incorrect - I remember my mom buying Neese's Liver Pudding when I was 6 years old - that's been 30 years. I never heard of liver Mush until I came to Wilkes county...

Livermush and Liverpudding is a Yankee verses Rebel deal. When I lived up north about 40 yrs ago, you coudln't find Livermush anywhere but you could find all the liverpudding or scrapple you wanted. Down south Livermush is the only thing it was called until the last few years.

Livermush has more cornmeal in it than liver pudding.

Organ meats are not healthy to eat....especially when they are sliced into slabs and fried in hot grease..

I have no idea why some is called mush, and some pudding. Actually, I don't know that I've ever seen a brand other than Neese's that's called pudding. And yes, after last week's discussion on this subject, I had to have my liver pudding sandwich, fried crisp with onions and mustard on plain loaf bread.

No idea. Neese's website claims its just different spices. Other places claim the mush has parts of the head in it, where pudding doesn't

Neese's also makes livermush. That's how I learned it was two different things. Interesting enough, I can't find liver pudding at walmarks. Only mush.

I've always bought Neese's, so it's liver pudding for me. Never heard it called liver mush 'til I moved to Wilkes County.
