Just what do you think your article on the elections board proves? Because its not what you think it does. No governor appointment is independent. No governor is appointing someone that doesnt side with them ideologically.
You said:
There are no independent governor appointees. We're talking about party affiliation requirements to be appointed to the board, not individual bias. But the article I quoted pointed out that he has worked with both Republicans and Democrats.
Further, G.S. § 163A-2 requires the board to have 4 people from the dominant party, 4 people from the second most dominant party, and a 9th person from neither party:
But this amendment wants to change that by removing the 1 person that is in neither party.
And as for the Amendment on hunting and fishing:
It would prohibit restrictions on hunting and fishing except for laws or rules to "promote wildlife conservation and management ... and preserve the future of hunting and fishing," according to the text of the amendment. ... Rep. Chuck McGrady, R-Henderson, said although he voted to place the right to hunt and fish on the ballot, he’s ambivalent about actually seeing the amendment pass. “The last time I looked around, I don’t believe hunting and fishing were really being threatened by anything, so why do you need it in the constitution?” he said. ... You can clearly see that this is not a partisan position, just as many Republican leaders are against it as there are Democrats. The issue is that your right to hunt and fish has never been threatened, so this Amendment doesn't affect an individual at all. But when you see a commercial company overfishing your river and you can't catch anything yourself, then you will be affected.
And when that happens, I'm sure that you'll find some ignorant way to blame the Democrats

Antithesis is a liar. Hear is the Right to Hunt amendment
"Sec. 38. Right to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife. The right of the people to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife is a valued part of the State's heritage and shall be forever preserved for the public good. The people have a right, including the right to use traditional methods, to hunt, fish, and harvest wildlife, subject only to laws enacted by the General Assembly and rules adopted pursuant to authority granted by the General Assembly to (i) promote wildlife conservation and management and (ii) preserve the future of hunting and fishing. Public hunting and fishing shall be a preferred means of managing and controlling wildlife. Nothing herein shall be construed to modify any provision of law relating to trespass, property rights, or eminent domain."
Notice that it specifically says people are still subject to laws enacted by the general assembly to regulate hunting. No one would be allowed to hunt, fish, or harvest wildlife without following the laws put in place by the GA. What this does do is prevent local municipalities, POA's, etc from banning hunting or fishing.

And harvest is a term used by NC Wildlife Agency referring to hunting and fishing. Technically hunting doesnt include the act of trapping, but harvesting does.

Right to hunt or not and license or not I wouldn't let that stop me from killing an animal or fishing If my family and I were hungry. I also wouldn't say anything to anyone else under those conditions.

To hunt or fish you got to have a license yes a permit to do any kind of fishing... Vote For bot against. Give GODS rights back to people to feed themselves without Government interference..

At this time I am sorry to say that I do not have faith enough in NC voters to think this will not be voted through. So many just believe whatever they are spoon fed and go along with it.

In 2020 everyone has to have a Federal ID? Is that why the DL bureau is always backed up in NC people trying to get ID.The tax ammendment will lower the top rate from 10% to 7 % and will not affect the present tax rate of 4.75 %.Vote yes on all 6

Several other states require a picture identification to vote, and have for several years. I think NC needs the same stipulation. How can you truly combat voter fraud unless you have to show an ID. There was a case in one county where a woman voted for her mother because she couldn't get out to vote. This would eliminate situations such as this.

This is not about voting for a president its about a NC constitution amendment on the right of the people to hunt and fish.
As far as the corporation are people claim the supreme Court chose instead to double down and reaffirm the conclusion of Citizens United that corporations are people -- at least as far as the First Amendment is concerned.

This one is also deceptive. You already have the legal right to hunt and fish, that's never been in question. But this amendment adds "or harvest." This means that corporations will have the right to harvest fish and wildlife without legal restraint.
you better believe it.
I figured it out myself because I remember the day that the SCOTUS declared that corporations were people.
I knew that would come back and bite. Next, Duke Energy will be casting a ballot for president.

Yeah never mind that everyone has to buy a hunting license except for land owners hunting on their own property and you are only allowed a certain number of animals.
