If Wilkes TV has closed, we've lost a GOOD one. The man was honest and fair priced. Dealt with him almost 20 years, and always came away pleased.

TVs now are pretty much made to last just a few years and then be replaced. It really isn't worth it to repair a television....or a microwave. As for shoes....I REALLY lament no longer having a shoe repair shop!

That place at intersection of 18N and Mtn. View Road was Wilkes TV and I'm pretty sure they are no longer open.

its in elkin its called elkin service center its a few shops down from john boys

There's a place down beside the intersection of Sparta Rd & Mountain View Rd. on other side of Fast Track aka. Country Market Deli. Don't know if it's still open or not, it's in bad located. Gray two story building!!
