I have never been hurt by a transgender person nor do I know anyone that has. I'm sure they have undesirables among them, but all my hurts have been from people that I recognized as heterosexuals. Being a lifelong heterosexual myself, I guess it's my own kind rather than the deviants I have to watch out for!
