weepub, it doesn't matter which party a person of his character and background represents, he should not have a snowball's chance in hello of getting elected. And IF he is elected that just goes to show how lame the voters in that area really are. He is the poster child for one of many things that's wrong in politics and I'd say that regardless of which party was being represented.

Let's say he made those mistakes as a young person and now sees the error of his ways and intends to go on to be a fine, upstanding citizen that truly wants to serve his community. He deserves a second chance. Agreed. But at the ripe old age of 24, he's not had time to prove he's reformed and on the right path yet.

and if this guy were running for office in this area ... he would be promoted as the best candidate on the ticket
