Jason, thank you for doing that. I cannot believe that officials are not bothered by all of this and think that we are just animal nuts.
It is about illegal activity by a county commissioner along with all of the unethical and dishonest actions by this person. He told the Wilkes county citizens that "he was at the wrong place at the wrong time," but now we see the evidence that he told the investigator first that he was at a dog show and the next day, when interviewed again by the investigator he said he meant to say he went to a dog fight. And he was arrested for betting on that fight. They did not just do away with the charges like just before this last election he lost. He had to pay fines and go through a program.
What other commissioner has gotten contempt charges hanging over his head at this very moment?
What other commissioner receive a cease and desist letter from an attorney concerning nude pictures?
What other commissioner has bad debts that he has not paid to other Wilkes county citizens?
What other commissioner has caused torture, cruelty and the deaths of hundreds of dogs?
What other commissioner has had 3 rocky marriages with claims of abuse ?
Think of all of the other charges that was posted earlier in this thread.
This is not who we want in office to represent us. What example is this to the young people in this county? When has the man ever told the truth? He told the public that he was elected because of his integrity.
HIS WHAT?? I get a good laugh every time I think of that LIE!

Someone is not looking at the evidence. Didn't Jason have evidence that is from 4 years ago of his connections to dog fighting?
@dog gate, I will be speaking at the May 7 County Commissioner's meeting to present the verifiable evidence that you mentioned.
The newspapers and other media have exclusively focused on his arrest from 2002, which I think grossly minimizes the issue. I have alerted the media about my upcoming presentation, and at the very least this will make it part of the permanent public record.

This county is the laughing stock of the state because of the Stoney issue. Now we have Kristi Noem coming as a speaker to Wilkes. In a recent book she admitted to killing animals.
We should change the county motto to "animal abusers welcome" run for office we will elect you !

County Officals even the county manager have zero over site or control over the commissioners individually or as a group, they can neither allow or stop a sitting commissioner(s) from doing anything, the only person that has any say what so ever is the Chairman who appoints other commissioners to boards and panels.

Pike - I realize that you asked Dog. However my concern is this. After all that's been in the news which includes his peers asking him to resign. If it's true that a county official allowed him to represent the county it demonstrates an extreme disregard for the well being of the county. If in fact that happened that official needs to be called into question.

That's an interesting point. If the county is willing to die on this hill after all his fellow board members have asked him to resign perhaps the focus needs to be turned on someone else.

Someone must have not have heard that he is in contempt of court in SC and has signed to serve jail time if he does not do what judge has demanded him do. Isn't that something? A commissioner being held in contempt. And the case must have been going on since his second divorce. And the rumors are that he is working on divorce #3. So much for Mr Integrity. Just ask his wife what happened.

Maybe I did Spark. But I didn't set the kitten out. It was a dangerous area with lots of cars turning, busy part of the day. But hey I'm not having a pissing contest with a bitter old woman or man, which ever you maybe. I can tell your old by you tone. Why do you guys always blame the wrong people? Seen dogs tied up in back yards in years past. Sparta Road, there in the middle of the road a tiny kitten with cars driving be it. So darn sad and heart breaking. What low life set the kitten out. Was Stoney wrong, YES. So many are guilty in Wilkes of doing heartbreaking things. The old saying, there's worse things in life than death. So true. To few people in Wilkes are kind to animals and take care of them. Seen a few on here that are really great animal owners. I'm a better animal owner today than I was at 20. Rose and her dog, one on here said she fed cats in her wood, and Jason loves his dog so much. Most on are outstanding owners,

It must be so wonderful to be so self- righteous. Must be wonderful to be so perfect in your life. Who care what someone else has done 20 plus years ago. Maybe people need to look into your background. I know mine isn't sneaky clean and I know no one whose is. GOD doesn't like ugly and some of you are some of the ugliest I seen in a long time. What do you plan on accomplishing by this? Cowards behind keyboards. Leave the man alone. I'm sure there are others in office that have done much worse
