Why are there still Christmas parades? We get it high school bands can play jingle bells.
The parades are more of a community coming together and having a bit of fun while also letting others know that we aren't going anywhere. If not showing that we are not ashamed of who we are helps one person feel like they aren't alone and there are others, then well all the confetti was worth it.
Personally, I've never participated in the parade but I've been to several. I have a friend who participates in a different parade each year. She loves it.

268, maybe you can explain something to me that I've been wondering.
What is the purpose of the Gay Pride parades?
I understand the original purpose, to show the world that there were a lot of gay people and that there was no shame in it... "We're here! We're Q***! Get used to it!!!" But this is 2017, and I'm pretty sure we've gotten the message. So what's the point now?

Wow I never thought I would Ever agree with Satan but I totally agree. My nephew is h*mosexual and he's not no braggart. He does what he does. Yes I still love him. And yes he knows the teaching of Jesus. He knows Gods Rules. It's his life.
