Neutrals are best for this situation. Try to avoid too much "sparkle", use matte browns. I do not agree with the others about white slacks being inappropriate . As long as they fit well and do not show visible panty lines, you will look great. Good luck!

pdtw, I totally agree with you!
To the OP, keep it neutral, and keep it conservative. And if you have navy pants or skirt, that would be better, hon. The best rule of thumb is this: always dress a little nicer for the interview than you would for work.
I wish you all the best!!

Honestly, white on the bottom? Under navy? You are going to look like a weirdo. White only works when it is on top of Navy. Did your mama never teach you summer/winter ware?

You are totally screwed already what with the navy on top and the white bottom. Who cares about your eye shadow? . The interviewer will be so discombobulated with the whole navy on top white on the bottom that he or she will never find your eyes, let alone hire you. Huge fashion screw up for an August interview.

When you say "bottoms" are you talking about dress slacks or shorts?
Please dress business like when going for an interview. You would not believe the folks in this county who actually show up for a JOB INTERVIEW wearing panties....excuse me "shorts", a T shirt & flip flops.
You are not going to get the job that way.
Best advise. Wear a dress or skirt no shorter than knee length, a nice top or top & jacket & dress shoes with a low heel. If a dress or skirt isn't possible substitute dress slacks....not too tight though.
Keep the makeup & jewelry simple and conservative. Don't go looking like someone who used to walk 10th street!!
You can dress how you want to later. But if you are lucky to get a job interview....dress appropriately for it.

You can never go wrong with neutral shades. If you don't know how to apply more vivid colors correctly, you can really end up looking pretty gaudy, IMO.
