You are so right about that.


And the newspapers are protecting themselves in case he stays in office. They did not write anything during his run for the House and I know the Record had his big ad on their website. And not a mention of anything.

And it would be more than $15M more . The total price of the contract for building is $22M plus $10M interest.

Wow, I did not realize this story just dropped today!!


He should definitely resign because he is not competent. Anyone who pushes to spend 15 million more on a building that is going to basically be the same size with no room to grow is not thinking of the future and is likely making a cut on the construction.

"I don't want any distractions for the county," he told The Wilkes Record. "There's a lot of good stuff going on here."

The "distractions" Greene referred to involved him being criticized on Facebook over his 2001 arrest in New Jersey for attending a dogfight. In that incident, according to reports, Greene was among 43 arrested. He said that a judge later dismissed the charges.



This is a flat out lie. The "distractions" have little to do with his arrest in 2001, and more to do with everything Jason and Megan brought to light.

The JP didn't really mention any of it, and half the article is saying that it's about the Christian proclamation that everyone's already forgotten about.


They're both trying to make it sound like he made a little mistake 23 years ago! But beating his wife and the sex allegations are public record, so they could have mentioned that. And they could have said something about "him being criticized on GoWilkes over several accusations of dog fighting," which is a lot bigger than any of it.

Anybody reading the papers thinks that it's just a little mistake he made and it's all being blown out of proportion.

And that's what I think the papers want.

I don't think the local papers are downplaying Stoney's involvement in anything, if either of them printed a fraction of what's on her or the facepage site, Stoney could probably sue for libel. Actual news outlets have a much higher standard on reporting, rumor, common community college, suspicion and guesswork don't cut it.
