I would imagine that virtually every single accomplishment being mentioned had some level of support from individuals and/or groups on the opposing side. If partisans didn't have to assign credit, support, obstruction and blame based on partisanship, then I feel confident that we'd probably accomplish a great deal more positive things.

They shut up and run. They have none, zilch, nada, zero.
One did tell me, once, with a smug look, "Lincoln was a republican and he stopped slavery"

Wait, I thought this thread was about Republican dudes. Start a democrat thread and see what happens! I have voted, democrat, republican and independent. I have to say, I never voted for a Green Party or libertarian because I never reckoned they would win. My bad, maybe.
