Not sure what your income is but BROC has a Duke energy helping hands to help folks with heat and air. Check their website. It explains it more. Click on weatherization and it will give more details.

So what mine is 30. Runs great. Sure I pay to keep it up but that's a hulluva lot cheaper than a new one. Even if my electric bills are some higher it's cheaper to keep it. My ac guy says run them till they can't run no more.
