I spent 2 and 1/2 weeks visiting 4 islands....loved it

If you go to the northern islands, hire a guide, especially if you want to check out the scenic trails. It can be easy to get lost in the wilderness and mistake a animal path for a scenic trail.

I want to go to the northern islands that are now the Marine preserve and if I had enough $ , I would love the check out the island that was bought privately from King Kamehameha in the 1860s and is inhabited by native Hawaiians and that family. Pretty cool- you can fly over and spend the afternoon on one of the beaches, but that is it- no visits to the village, etc.

Great place to visit but also very expensive.

Obama was going to live there but he found out they fixed a lot of Bar-b-que. Muslims don't eat pork.

I went to Hawaii, Maui, and Ohua some years ago. Beautiful, beautiful state.

I burned a fat Maui doobie and listened to Don Ho once. Pretty much the same thing.
