Okay. I'm off to bed. I'm going to plan out my Coach K bronze statue.

I'm not sure there's a huge problem with statues and the like in the private sector, but: The private sector will take care of itself, in the same sense that you don't see successful businesses flying a Confederate flag. Remember, the CEOs on Drumpf's business councils did their best Road Runner impersonations after Drumpf's press conference.

Except for the guy in Durham, I think most of the statues are simply being relocated, to museums and cemeteries, and the like.
The guy in Durham, I think, may be beyond repair.

I think the bigger concern is statues at state and federal (and local) government buildings.
I mean, I've heard a lot of the statues are being relocated to Confederate cemeteries. I think that's right.

So, when are ya'll gonna start on the gravestones at St Pauls Episcopal, right here in Wilkes.
There are Revolutionary and Civil War stones there and alot of those folks buried their slaves right next their own graves...
so... hmmmm????

Melt it down, and build a Coach K.
Durham would love it!

I hate the statue in Durham was removed in such a way that people got arrested, but it's a piece of junk now.

How about a statue of Mike Krzyzewski to replace the Durham statue? He's a Republican.
