Democrats want to TAKE or CONFISCATE your semi automatic guns, like your 22 semi automatic rifle, your semi automatic 270 , your semi- automatic 9mm, Yes friends they want them all, if you vote for them (any of them) you will pay a very large price of freedom. Don't let them con you, none of the candidates opposed him.
Semi-automatic-only rifles like the Colt AR-15 are not assault rifles; they do not have select-fire capabilities.
Semi-automatic-only rifles with fixed magazines like the SKS are not assault rifles; they do not have detachable box magazines and are not capable of automatic fire.
You can tell the left is not serious about gun control. Why not nip the violence in the bud and ban weapons in movies and video games. Really, that is where most of the minds get poisoned.
Just curious, Foxnose, do you think that Americans play more video games or watch more action movies than people in other countries? Or do you just think that we're more susceptible to their influence?
During the last dim debate he said he was coming for our guns.
Now he is walking back that bit of foolery.
I don't think he's walking back on it, his campaign has always talked about a buyback program. But I don't really care, I'm not voting for him and he's not going to win the Primaries.
But I did post earlier where Trump made the same campaign promise, to ban assault weapons. He didn't specify a confiscation, either, though, so I think he was referring to extending the Federal AWB of 1994.
SORT OF LIKE TRUMP MAKING MEXICO PAY FOR HIS WALL. OR THAT A HURRICANE WAS HEADING TOWARD ALABAMA. OR LIKE HOW YOU SHOULD RAKE THE LEAVES IN A FOREST TO PREVENT FOREST FIRES.
I don't know who Francis is, but did he say "confiscation?" Beto's Twitter post from about 12 hours ago talked about a buyback, and as far as I can tell that's always been in his campaign:
But I'm not in favor of that, either, so I can't really defend it. I might be OK with an optional buyback program that's simultaneous with a ban on manufacturing and importing assault weapons and their ammunition, though.
You're the one trying to change the subject from Beto to Trump's puppeting for the NRA when he made that ic claim regarding movies and games. There are few books more violent than the Bible, and while one could argue that the Crusades were much worse than mass shootings (for that matter, how many people have been killed in religious wars?) I don't see anyone trying to ban the Bible.
This should be an interesting read for you, Foxnose... from 2012 so it's in response to the NRA instead of Trump:
