Check for updates - Open the Play Store app and tap on the profile icon to check for any available updates for Google Play services. Install if there are updates available.

With this error you can try the following:

1. Restart the machine
2. Clear cache and data (applicable to Google keep stopping error)
3. Uninstall Play Services Updates (applicable to Google keeps stopping error)

This popped up on my phone and I don't know why and can not find out how to fix it. It is effecting me using phone any help greatly appreciated ! It pops up constantly
