The Open Air Market is scheduled May 1 through October 16, 2015 on a weekly basis. The regular market is open every Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm. The vendor selling are farmers with locally grown fruits, vegetables, plants and local art & craft vendors, baked goods, plus many other vendors. This market will take place in the town owned parking lot across from the 50's Restaurant and Royall's Framing on Main Street in downtown Wilkesboro.


The Friday Series will open on the 3rd Friday of each month May through September each year from 4:00-8:00 pm for special events which will include the regular Open Air Market. The Special Series Event also includes downtown merchants, themed activities, farmers, local art & crafts, vineyards, musical performances, artisans, baked goods, kids activities and demonstrations, plus many other activities and booths. This market is in same location as the Open Air Market and the music starts at 4:00 pm.
