Sponsored by the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club, the fair runs through Saturday. Admission is $8, with children age 5 and under admitted free. Ride bracelets are $15 Tuesday and $17 Wednesday through Saturday.

In addition to more than 25 rides, food and games, highlights of the agricultural fair will include a petting zoo, miniature bull races, 4-H exhibits, a circus clown and trapeze act, nightly wrestling and a lawnmower race.

Lawn mower race is Saturday, with gates to the race opening at 2 p.m., practice at 4:30 p.m. and racing at 6 p.m. Admission to the lawnmower race is included in fair admission.

Extreme wrestling events will be held every night of the fair.
