U.S. CELLULAR OPENS INTERACTIVE, DIGITAL STORE IN
MOUNT AIRY
High-concept store offers unique customer experience

MOUNT AIRY, N.C. � Just in time for the holidays, and to make shopping for wireless service an easy and enjoyable experience for its customers in Mount Airy, U.S. Cellular has relocated a new location at 752 South Andy Griffith Parkway, Mount Airy NC. The new high-engagement store has almost doubled in size, from 1,500 square feet to 3,500 square feet. The layout shows off the latest devices, accessories and technology, and it was designed with customers in mind. To celebrate, held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The retail location will also hold its grand opening celebration weekend Dec. 3-5 with promotions, refreshments and special giveaways for store visitors.

This highly experiential store was built with state-of-the-art features that make shopping for the latest smartphones, tablets and accessories a fun and pleasant experience. Updates include an expanded device discovery zone, a connected devices engagement counter and a lounge. It has a large showroom and features multiple phone bars with interactive screens designed to allow customers hands-on access to the latest devices from Apple, Samsung, LG, Motorola and others.

The U.S. Cellular Mount Airy store employs 9 associates. It is open from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday and noon - 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, contact the store at 336-719-7980.
