U.S. Cellular hosting free Device Workshop to show you how to use your phone to the fullest

WILKESBORO, NC (March 05, 2016) --- Ready to escape the winter blues on a nice vacation? Spring break is around the corner and while everyone looks forward to vacation, the planning can be stressful. It is a good thing that smartphones and tablets can make travel planning easier. In a recent U.S. Cellular study, 48 percent of smartphone owners used their device to look up destination reviews and prices and 36 percent use their device to book hotel reservations.

To show the ways wireless devices can help with travel planning, U.S. Cellular is hosting a free Device Workshop in Wilkesboro so you can enjoy both the planning and vacation. The workshop is open to everyone, and you don�t need to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend.

�With the right device, apps and national network, you have the flexibility to plan for your trip wherever you are and also stay connected while enjoying your time away,� said Nathan Waddell, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Mid-South.

The free Device Workshop is being held at the Wilkesboro U.S. Cellular store at 1809 US HWY 421 on Saturday, March 26th at 9:00am. U.S. Cellular associates will be on hand to show attendees how to use the features on their device and explain the many advantages smartphones have to offer.
