Reading comes to life at the Storybook Character Breakfast! Join us for a fun event with breakfast, a character parade, and a chance to meet with and take pictures with some of your favorite characters. Some of the characters at our event include Clifford and Emily Elizabeth, Elsa and Anna, Darth Vader and Princess Leia, Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell, plus many others. The event will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 a.m. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased at the library in advance. For more information or to buy tickets call 336-835-5586. This event is hosted by the Friends of the Elkin Public Library, and all proceeds go to help support the library's summer reading program.
