The Hiddenite Center is proud to announce the return of Appalachian State University's (ASU) Steely Pan Steel Drum Band, which will perform another unforgettable dinner theater concert.

The incredibly talented and world-renowned Steely Pan Steel Drum Band consists of 22 student performers and 41 steel drums, including drum set and percussion. The ensemble has gained quite a reputation performing at Universities, art festivals and all types of schools throughout the south for over the past sixteen years. Steely Pan is always one of The Hiddenite Center�s most popular Celebration of the ARTS performances. They were featured at both the North and South Carolina Music Teachers Conventions and have given clinic/performances at Percussive Arts Society's Day of Percussion. The Steely Pan Steel Band was sponsored by WSOC, channel 9, in Charlotte, N.C. as part of the city�s Spring Fest and performed on the Fourth Ward stage.
