Old Train Depot

Wilkes Acoustic Folk Society will be parking cars again this year at the old train depot on Cherry Street.
This is one of the closest parking places to the activities at Apple Fest.
There will be music by members of WAFS on the deck of the depot from 10 AM to 2:30 PM, chairs provided.
$5.00 per car for all day parking. There is a handicap parking area.
This is a fundraiser to support sending our young musicians to a music camp for a week in the summer.
Last year we were able to send 3 young musicians to Pete Wernick's Jam Camp during MerleFest and 1 to the Swananoa Gathering at Warren Wilson College.
