Black Cat Railroad Station is having an OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, January 10th, 2015 and everyone is invited to come and have some great fun with the trains. For the tykes we have two Thomas The Tank lay outs; one electric and the other is manual and they can run them to their hearts content. Youo'll have to carry the little ones out when its time to go home. For the "older" generation we have a large HO Scale Model railroad layout, running more than ten trains at the same time. We have recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro in the 1950's around the Depot area which brings a little nostalgia to the "big people". As we are a non-profit organization (501-C3) there is no admission fee, however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operation and repairs to equipment.
