There will be an Open House at the Black Cat Station Railroad Club on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 and everybody is invited to come and have great fun. For the tykes we have two Thomas The Tank lay outs that they can run themselves; one is electric and the other is manual. You'll have to carry them out when it's time to go home. For the older generation (and tykes also) we have a large HO Scale lay out that runs more than 10 trains at the same time. We've also loosely recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro around the Train Depot in the 50's, which brings a little nostalgia to the older folks. As we are a non-profit organization there is NO Admission Fee, however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations. Hours are from 10 am till 2:00 PM.
