On Saturday, June 14th.2014 there will be an OPEN HOUSE at the Black Cat Station Railroad Club and everyone is invited to attend. There is NO Admission fee, however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations as we are a non-profit organization ((501-C3). We have fun entertainment for all ages: For the tykes we have two Thomas The Tank lay outs that they can run by themselves to their hearts content, usually you have to drag them out when times comes to go home and for the "young at heart" we have over ten trains running at the same time. We have loosely recreated the Town of North Wilkesboro in the 1950's around the Depot area which brings a lot of nostalgia to lots of folks. We run the trains from 10:00 am. till 2:00 PM.
