On Saturday, April 12th, 2014 there will be an OPEN HOUSE at the Black Cat Station and we hope to see you all there having fun with the rest of us. There's lots to see. We have more than 10 Large HO Scale Model Trains running at the same time. There's a reproduction of the North Wilkesboro Depot in the 1950's which brings a bit of nostalgia to us older generation and we have for the Tykes, two Thomas The Tank layouts that they can operate to their hearts content. You'll have to carry them out when it's time to go home. One is electric and the other manual. They really enjoy this. There is NO admission charge as we are a non-profit organization (501-C3) however donations are greatly appreciated to help defray costs of operations and repair to equipment.
