On Saturday November 10th,2012, there will be an Open House at the Black Cat Railroad Club, Located at 800 Elizabeth Street, North Wilkesboro, 28659 from 10:00 am. till 2:00 PM and everybody is invited to come and have lots of fun with the trains. There's lots of fun to be had by Train lovers of all ages. For the little ones we have two Thomas The Tank layouts which the tykes can run on their own and for the Young at heart we have a large HO Scale Model layout that will run more that 10 trains at the same time, through tunnels, over bridges and trestles, through towns etc. We have loosely depicted the Town of North Wilkesboro, back in the 1950's around the Depot area and that brings a little nostalgia to the older folks. As we are a non-profit organization there is NO admission charge however donations are very much appreciated to help defray costs of operations and maintenance. Hope to see everyone there.
