December 3, 2015 at 5:30pm Local author Renee Canter Johnson will be at the Wilkes County Public Library to introduce her new book; The Haunting of William Gray. This book is Renee Johnson�s second novel. Her first novel, Acquisition, was released in November of 2014, and The Haunting of William Gray will be released November 11, 2015. Both books are published by The Wild Rose Press. Renee Johnson has deep roots in Wilkes County. Her parents were W.G. and Blanche Canter of Wilkesboro. She attended West Wilkes High School, and Wilkes Community College. She lives in Wilkesboro with her husband, Tony Johnson, and a very spoiled German shepherd named Gretel. Renee Johnson also works at the North Wilkesboro Post Office, though writing has been her passion since childhood.
