The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center has been invited to curate an exhibit at the Northwest North Carolina Visitor Center in North Wilkesboro. On display through the months of January and February 2016, the exhibit highlights the diversity of talent among artists associated with the Center�s Heritage Fair and Lucas Mansion Gallery exhibits. The Northwest North Carolina Visitor Center offers this opportunity to arts organizations throughout the region as a means of sharing the rich culture of Northwest NC with their year round visitors.

The exhibit curated by the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center features the work of 18 artists, demonstrating unique perspectives in diverse mediums. Exhibiting artists are Andrew Atkin (painting),Sandra Gwaltney (Corn Shuck Dolls), James Drum (Duck Decoys), Chuck Houchins (Wood work), Keith Robinette (Wood burning), Mike Lowe (Leather work), Allison Houchins (Traditional baskets), Sam Frogge (Caned footstools), Penny Braswell (Quilts), Dorothy Karvelis (Quilts), Elissa Houchins (Paintings), Robin Beckett (Pottery), Bill Henry (Miniatures carving), Jessica Liptok (Weaving), Dean Wright (Wood carving), Lisa Ray (Cherokee weaving), Eddie Perrell (Wood toys), and
Ed Briggs (Burl bowls).

Open to the public daily from 9am � 5pm, with weather related exceptions. The exhibit is free to visit and will be on display through the end of February 2016.
