Whippoorwill Academy and Village

"Dulcimer Day" is Saturday May 30, 2015 at Whippoorwill Academy and Village. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy this sweet music and the lovely mountain view!
"Simple Gifts" is a Wilkesboro dulcimer duo made up of Katheryn Steele and Marie Waddell. They will perform from 1-3 pm. Tony Deal of Lenoir will be playing his hammered dulcimer from 3- 5pm. Dulcimer lovers are invited to come listen and or bring your instrument to play along.

The event is free but guided tours of the village are with a small admission fee.

Sat. 1-5 pm Open to the public
Wed-Friday Open by appointment for group tours.

Admission

The Dulcimer Day event is free.
Guided Tour of the village is $8.00 for teens and adults and $5.00 for children ages 5-12.
