Domestic Violence Awareness March and Candlelight Vigil

A Domestic Violence Awareness March and Candlelight Vigil will be held Tuesday, October 28th in Wilkesboro. The march will begin at 5:45 p.m. at the Wilkes County Heritage Museum on Main Street in Wilkesboro. Participants will march one-quarter mile to the labryrinth at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where the vigil will start at 6:00 p.m. The 59 victims of domestic violence in North Carolina in the past year will be remembered in prayer, word and song.
