Austin Fire & Rescue Fire Prevention Day

We will be kicking off this event with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Station at 12pm.

Free food will be available. We will be having hot dogs, chips and drinks.

Free games will be traditional field day games, prizes available for all the children. We will have the Fire Safety house, two bounce houses, Dunking booth, ring toss game, face painting, and many others. We will also have Fire Safety gift bags for the kids.

"Sparky" The Fire Dog will be in attendance as well as "Smokey" The Bear.

We will be having a 50/50 raffle. As well as a large quantity of door prizes. Stay tuned to our facebook page for updates.

We will have a video to view inside the old station. The Slideshow contains a large variety of photos and videos from the beginning of the Fire Departments organization all the way to the present. Be sure to check it out while your eating!!

Music will take place on the concrete pad in front of the new station with a small area reserved for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Be sure to bring your chairs. Games and the Safety House will take place in the open grass area beside our new station. Eating area will be in the meeting room area of our current (old) station. The Cake walk will take place at the same location, except in the truck bays.

Parking will be out front at the old station. There will be areas blocked off for areas you cannot park, so please pay close attention to these areas. If necessary, you can park across the road at the church. The Concrete pad infront of the old station will be RESERVED for Handicap Parking ONLY.

Please note that this will be an ALCOHOL FREE event. No alcohol will be allowed on Fire Department property. Please help us to keep this a fun, clean day for all families and friends.
