The fine art acrylics paintings classes at the Senior Citizen Center in Fairplain. After a winter break will be returning to classes on Mondays. 10:00 to 12:00 For the past three years Gail Bonnie Williams Rhoades has been volunteer her time to teach art at the senior citizen center. ( seniors age 55 or older) located off Highway 18 North just past the pizza hut. there is no fee for class but there is a small fee for supplies for teachers to use to demonstrate and show students new supplies. some brushes are furnished to try,but you are responsible to bring your own supplies. classes will cover basic to advance with a table for beginning students so now is the time to try your hand at creating art. classes will be ongoing for 12 weeks You may sign up four weeks at a time space permitting ending with a art show at Bella Rose Cottage Downtown Wilkesboro, NC.This will give new artist the chance to learn the basic of what it takes to do a art show. Gail Bonnie Williams Rhoades also founded the Unique Artist of Yadking Valley based in Wilkes County, which meeting the first Wednesday of each mount at William Vance Nickels Art Studio in Melody Square Downtown, NC The Unique Artist also sponsors art shown at various place in Wilkes County. Ms. Rhoades says it is always her goal to make art affordable to everyone. So reach inside your self and find the artist within. Learn to look at the world through creative eyes.
