I had to go to Winston this evening, stopped at Zaxbys in Clemmons. They weren't nearly as busy as the Elkin store has been, but food was excellent as always. The old BackYard Burgers next to them is a Taco Bell now :(

In other larger cities I travel to, Zaxby's does not have hardly any business. So they will probably do very well in the Elkin area. For that price range, had much rather have Panda Express.

I don't think they'll last long in a small market like Elkin. It's to expensive for what it is.

I ate there the other day. The chicken and fries were very good. What I couldn't get over was the serving of slaw. It was real good but it looked like they only gave me enough to fill a bottle cap. No more than 2 Tablespoons at the most.

I went this afternoon for the first time and there were hardly anyone there. Me and four other people walked out due to them being slow as molasses running in the winter time. And for a new restaurant I can't understand why they have a 95 sanitation grade.

I had their fabulous chicken strips again tonight. I believe they even have Hardees strips beat, and that's saying something! Business is staying brisk.Chendo, they are very close to 77, just across from the new Taco Bell.
