What's not consistent? I believe that if you conceive a child you should do everything possible to protect, love, teach and provide for that child. When you have a baby (by choice or by accident) that child is your responsibility and you should sacrifice your wants and needs to provide for and protect them. Anything else just isn't right.

I understand that a fetus is a baby. I'm just trying to figure out why the position changes. If you have a firm understanding of your position then what you say should be consistent.

That's just the thing. I don't think you will. Like I said, no one can make you see that 32 week old "fetus" as an innocent baby. You either do or don't.

For the life of me, I can't see why mommatwo is being singled out for the only one on here who mentioned pro-life issues. If one looks back through the thread, you will find that alonzo, should of been a cowboy, lazerone, empowers, redfly and cansfan mentioned it as well. Why are people not harrassing them over it? Is it because mommo is a Christian and being you are not just love to question her and make fun?

If you can't understand why a 32 week old baby needs someone to protect them, then I can't make you understand it.

Just like a significantly mentally or physically impaired patient, the unborn child can not make a choice at least at that point.

So you think a person in a coma should be put to death because they can't make a choice?

Then tell me, what choices can a 32 week fetus cognitively make? And why does this lack of cognition trump the choice of a fully developed human?

It is not "wrong" for a rape victim to choose not to sustain a pregnancy.

I don't support abortion. Or rape. Or incest. I don't think two wrongs make a right.

you do know accidents/mistakes happen and people are not ready for the responsibility. I'm assuming you support abortion in cases of rape and incest.

I think I understand, but there's a lot of people that are confused on the issue. If you procreate, then you have a duty to love, protect, support, and teach your child. Anything else, I will NEVER understand.
