I remember going back to watch Jaws twice and Apocalyspe Now was not so bad.

Try watching the original Poseidon Adventure or Love Story. Those were both really good movies.

I decided to try to watch the movie Westworld from 1973. Holy crap, the dialogue is awful, the acting sucks, and the story is bad. I jumped to Netflix and watched a few minutes from other movies from the 70's (movies that were considered good at the time) and found the same common problems.

How did people sit through movies in the 70's?
