Wilkes Republican Womens' Committee closed in 2022 after not filing any required reports with the State Board of Elections for 2019 or 2020. They ended up with at least 2k in fines and had to recreate an entire year's worth of financial disclosures including a lot of cash for 2019 and 2020 in 2021. The group was dissolved in 2022, and the fines were reportedly paid off prior to the 2022 election season. I thought it might be good to have other eyes take a look at these and see if they look right.

The chairwoman of the Wilkes Republican Women at that time is now the vice chair of the party. She used to work for the Red Cross in Surry Co., I believe it was, a while back.
