The only two good commissioners we had were basically ran off because they did not wish to be part of the bs going on. They decided not to run because of the bs. This bs is a direct result of Stoney as Chairman.

Clarence, totally agree. We were not told. He lied. He has lied several times. And I am sick of his relatives claiming this is 20 years ago. Honey, the woman's photos were not 20 years ago. That was in 2019 and 2020. Did you forget about that?
And people say that this has been common knowledge. It was not common knowledge to most of the citizens in my opinion. As corrupt as we are hearing this county is, I cannot believe that the majority of citizens would elect someone with all this dirty baggage. In fact, I voted for him. I guess I believed the crap he said. But I sure know better now. I want that vote back.

DLD you have a clear right to your opinion and I agree with that, I would even fight for your right to your opinion even if I don't agree with your opinion. That is the beauty of America everyone has a right to express their opinion.

DLD you are my favorite Troll ! Your replies makes no sense to me when you target me. I am just happy that I am giving you something to focus your attention on, actually I am quiet honored.
My message has never flipped. The entire time is has been a message of transparency and honesty.
Also it has been a message of "the will of the people" our founding fathers were labeled as outlaws, criminals, they committed treason against the crown,
However they did not hide that fact, people decided to support them or support the crown. We fought for our independence and prevailed by following what at that time was labeled as criminals
This wasn't hidden from the people and the people decided.
The people have a right to choose, the candidates needs to be transparent. If we catch a candidate who defrauded the people they should go.
So Stoney needs to resign.
If he had ran and said, whelp boys and girls, I am not good at business, I and connected with animal fighters, i have attended the largest dogfight in NJ history, I believe that is my right, I have been married several times, my family life is not the best, i am very questionable but I am asking for your vote and the people said what they heck he is our guy lets vote for him they had that right.
Stoney lied to the voters to get elected and he needs to go.

In this situation with Stoney he defrauded the people, he tried to cover it up. He needs to go. He was not transparent with the voters. If Stoney had been truthful with the voters and they decided to choose him knowing the truth they had that right.

I think what is important is that citizens look at the candidates and know something about who they are voting for. I think anyone should be able to hold office and anyone should be able to vote.
It's doesn't matter what anyone's past is, everyone can change, also some people may think they prefer to have a crook in office at least they know what they are getting. It's the right of the people to vote for whomever they choose and majority rules.
If a candidate is truthful with the voters and the voters decide to elect that candidate then that person should serve.
It's wrong for government to use a policy to take power away from the people to choose who serves them in public office.
Taking someone off the ballot or not allowing them to be placed on a ballot is wrong.
Also using policy to not allow someone to vote is wrong, no matter what anyone did in the past they are still humans and their voice and opinion still matters, they should be able to vote.
Government using policy to control who can run for office or who can vote is bad politics. Let the people decide.

I still do not see why they do not do background checks. Look what this individual has done to the Republican Party here in Wilkes. I will not trust any of them. If someone that has abused animals and it is oblivious now this was a known fact to some in this county, was allowed to run with no questions being asked, is outrageous.
What else or who else will be accepted? Can we find a known rapist? Or maybe a known child molester? What will we have next serving this county?

I believe some of you are missing the point. Anyone can file to run for office. This is not something the Republican or Democrat party can control. If you have the filing fee, and you meet any requirements by law, you can file. The other point is that no candidate has to accept donations from anyone. You can turn down a donation, so if someone unscrupulous wants to give money to your campaign, you can say no.

Why was being a Bill Sexton wearing sunglasses at the commissioners meeting on 3/7/24? Stoney's smug punk arrogance must be rubbing off on him, he looked like a complete . Bill Sexton needs to be voted out next time also. If you combined Bill and Stoney's IQ's, it would still be less than 100. The Board of Commissioners is a three ring circus without a ring master right now.
