I've went to the artistic academy to get my hair done for many years. I knew they all were students but really never knew they didn't get any pay. Just training for them & they can accept tips . I thought the student doing the hair got a percent of what you paid for the service. They just do free labor basically . I also learned their the only school that makes the students that miss a Saturday make up 20 hours instead of just 8 for the day missed . That put some being there more weeks or a month depending on how many they have to make up . Those girls there work hard doing monthly practicals plus daily clients that other schools don't have those practical sheets . The girls there try hard & are being used for free labor . The make up Saturdays is rediculus .they have families just like every one else they shouldn't be expected to go every Saturday .ive never been in a school were a young instructor is always running threw the building . It's a place of bussiness not a play ground. The management needs stepping up.
