This is such a sad situation. This woman can get by with murder I do believe or she is just paying off the judges as she goes. Tge staff there is working above and beyond for the resident's and they can't even get their paychecks to provide for their own families. But let's see what happens now since the Federal Labor Board was tgere Monday while she was at court!

Naked Creek empties right into W. Kerr Scott. at the Nortwestern corner. Sounds like that would be a good catfishing hole if you're not going to eat the fish. Maybe the new water intake will help clean that up a little bit.

Wasn't there something about the water being unsafe also?

Employees was supposed to get paid on the 16th. They haven't got paid yet!!! And yes she's just digging herself a bigger hole. With everything against her they need to take all of her facilities from her. If she cared about these residents all of these things wouldn't be going on.

Said the fire was under control and mainly a lot of smoke right now. Champion said they had it under control and no extra help was needed from Millers Creek.

I hope the judge Monday has enough common sense to shut this place down for good. Most of the residents have been moved and if they hadn't paid off a judge in Forsyth to get their bs restraining order all the residents would have already been moved. Reema Owens doesn't give a rats *** about a single resident or employee she only cares about how much she can profit. Anyone can Google her name and find out about multiple lawsuits, complaints and other buildings of hers that have already been shut down. She shouldn't be allowed to own anymore facilities at all.

I hope they do find placement for all these poor residents meanwhile you have staff who work up there recording them and putting it on their Facebook and even have on their Facebook that they work there! I mean wow. doesn't that violate their rights?? Hmm, wonder how dss would like to hear about this...

I believe that place was built around 1960? Much suffering gone on for many years. Was a fairly decent place when Jim R. ran it. Used to house 80 or 90 people. There may be one or two who have lived there since 1960? It needs to be closed since there's a new one in town. Social services will place the residents. Location is too remote anyway. We need rest homes but we need good ones with good management.

Most likely DHHS or any Law Enforcement. It's all part of the game.

Thanks juniorsgirl for the info, and that's a good point mayapaya. I believe the staff at this facilty did their best. I've laid the blame where it truly belongs.

Honestly, instead of sitting behind a screen bashing a business that is going down the toilet, we should be offering our help to make it better for these pitiful residents that won't have any other place to go.
