I forget the source but I just posted it a few days ago... this "issue" exclusively comes up every time we have a Democrat President and a Republican Congress.

The facts show that the Debt to GDP ratio reached a record high under Trump, and Biden's policies are bringing it down. We're still not at the goal of 100%, but of course that will take time... doing it too quickly would cause a HUGE recession!

Which, of course, is what the GOP wants. We've only ever had a recession while under Republican Presidents, so they would love nothing more than to cause one that they could blame on a Democrat for once.
