lazerone well if that's the case, how do you have money to waste for gas getting the child to and from school. When the bus is already going by your house and their fuel is already paid for, so doesn't cost you a thing. That also kills the other reason stated by another poster. If you're not working then your work schedule doesn't conflict with you being at home to put the child on the bus. You would kill many birds with one stone by just staying home and putting the child on the bus. Also if you're not working then you're using even more of OUR tax money (unemployment and other welfare sources) to pay for something we're already paying for in taxes, i.e. the school buses and it's fuel, driver pay etc etc.
