we have 2 edenpure heaters, the large ones and they cut our electric bill almost in half last winter, they really do work

Satan is correct. You get heat from the amount of electrcity they consume, just like any other heater. They don't amplify the energy that goes in.

we have 2 of the heaters and we LOVE them. they keep the house warm, and i have a big house, safe to use and we dont have to use our oil furnace hardly at all in the winter. it does save because our electric bill has come down consideratley doing the winter. we have used them for about 4 years now. good investment!
