The kids and school officials knew this guy was a threat and reported to the police. He posted so much online and was reported again. They say if you see something say something. I say if we say something, do something.

Well, you haven’t bothered to correct my assumption if it wasn’t correct. That’s sure been the direction you’ve been driving in.
I always look at these shootings and think that most of them haven’t spent any time at the range when you actually look at their casualty numbers. The Virginia Tech shooter was the only one that ever had a serious total when comparing to the weapons they had. That was another case of an Asian out performing Americans.
As I’ve said before, the problems need to be identified and handled early, while they are minor. While behavior can be dealt with immediately instead of later when it requires waiting on court dates. There is a mental disconnect in especially kids when there is a delay between the action and the penalty. Which is why when things reach criminal level, arrest and jail time do little to fix problems.
Therapy and counseling do actually work. But they require teachers to care and not pass problems along just to get rid of them.

I agree but it is more realistic to take steps to better secure our schools, With 8 or 9 million AR15s and their clones out there plus 800,000 mini 14s and god knows how many SKSs and Ak platiform rifles its impossible to try and police them. Even though the Cops had warnings on this last one you cant arrest some one just because they might commit a crime, Secure our schools

I can appreciate a fine weapon, but how to keep them out of the hands of mass killers and protect our schools. I have grand kids in public school.

The AR is not complicated, insert mag, pull back the bolt and point.

Where did this miscreant get enough range time to learn how to handle his weapon of choice ?

So you got caught in your own hypocrisy of trying to pick and chose what firearms should be allowed and now don’t want to continue the discussion. Got it. Thanks for trying.
