The store needs to acquire (at least) part of the Penny's building to expand. The problem is . . . The district (home) office will not support the expansion. Says demographics and the proximity to Winston would preclude profitability of expanded lines.

I would love to see a TJ Maxx acquire the Penny's building. Our demographics support their product line. Don't think Belk would be too excited about that and should make their move to expand before someone else does.

I had to run in there last night, in a last minute rush, to buy my son a shirt and there was no selection what-so-ever!
I mean really? Whoever "the powers may be" are killing your local shopping selection!
Now if I had thought I could have found a last minute shirt and had cleaned and ready in time I would have just run into the Goodwill. But I really expected more.

And no way am I going to walmart! No way! I go to walmart only when it's my very last option :-/

I really hope the elections went well there. And things are looking up.
