Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen

Michaeljsr mhj mike Christian is not a religion Being a Christian is a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.followers of Christ. Christ's children

You poor fool mhj, michaeljsr

A [closed-minded] fool does not delight in understanding, But only in revealing his personal opinions [unwittingly displaying his self-indulgence and his stupidity].

If you still have to repent and beg forgiveness, just like the Jews did, then why did Jesus have to "die for your sins
----+

The Jews had the laws of Moses and traditions. Jesus brought to the world the Good News of ETERNAL LIFE. The Jews rejected Jesus teaching just like Christian do. Both prefer man teaching instead of keeping the Faith in Jesus. You don't beg for forgiveness. You repent for sinning.

Jesus didn't die. He just pretended to.

Ok, if you knew about 9/11 before it happens and had just enough time to kill the terrorists, is that a sin if you killed them?

I think there's a law that man has created about having a bomb

Thou shalt not steal

If a terrorist's group were raising money to build a boom that would kill thousands of people, would it be a sin to steal their money?

But go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
Matthew 9:13
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:8
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
Revelation 3:19
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
Joel 2:13
"For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord God. "Therefore turn and live!"
Ezekiel 18:32
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Luke 15:7
Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
Acts 17:30
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.

As long as you believe in Jesus then you don't need to repent. Christians can do whatever they want.

Study this passage.

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak
