All very good posts... and I won't stir the pot... so without pointing fingers let me state... look how civilized and productive a thread can be without certain posters bringing their hate and BS into it......

i watched a documentary the other day on the spacerace.it was well before my time, but i was amazed when they talked about how all of america was behind and intrested in it.they talked of people watching the news everyday just to find out the progress. i had never heard of this aspect of the race to the moon throughout all my aircraft and space intrest.was anyone on here around during this time? i cant imagine all of america being together for one cause.it must have been a great time to be alive. that is what we need in this country now.that kind of passion and togetherness working to make america grow from the inside out.not the other way around!

stop all foreign aid. close all foreign embassies, military bases, bring all out troops home. stop giving aid , benefits to all foreigners on our soil who are not legal. address the fraud in the corporate, healthcare, military contracts etc. some how put americans back to work. if we are working we are earning wages, we are paying taxes, we are buying things. if we are not working we are not earning wages, we are not paying taxes, we are not buying vas much, and we are drawing unemployment welfare food stamps etc. that has to have money coming in as well as going out. right now we have a lot more going out than going in. rework the irs tax codes. make it fair to everyone, regardless of earrings.

infrastructure should be a top 3 priority for this country.the power grid needs alot of updates and expansion.bridges are crubling as american drivers travel them everyday, but we are building bridges in afgan, iraq and every other **** hole country.if something is not done sooner than later as far as infrastructure the u.s. is going to find itself in bad shape in a short time.our power grid is a very vulnerable as far as security is concerned.parts have been hacked into in the past.some hacks have been linked to china and n. korea. if the american people think 9/11 was bad.you let a terrorist gain control of the power grid and this country would go to **** in less than 24 hrs. millions of jobs would be created in constuction trades.it wuld be a win/win/win for the united states.the only loosers would be those **** hole countrys that hate us anyway.but what do i know,im just a 40 year old poker player.

Good question except we and our always make my back hurt. Now if you are asking what can I do to make my country better, my answer is don't burn the cornbread and put plenty of soup in the pinto beans.

Westboro Baptist church members protesting at military funerals should

How about we put all the power lines underground and use the logs for free homeless housing.

O and legalize it.

we are going to have to find a happy medium on work and wages. i know too many working familys that dont make enough to live a basic life.they work everyday and still cant afford to eat out or take a vacation. the south loves to pride itself on their strength and closeness.butthe truth is the southern people will not and have never stuck together when it comes to labor issues.they work for nothing in manufacturing jobs mostly for peanuts all their lives and never have a chance to even know what a real quality life is.yet there counterparts north of the mason dixon line retire, travel, buy a caddy and move to fla. while in the south the only ones that enjoy that life is the factory owners and the family members they pass the company down too.
