We are talking about the need for a professional police force. Not a police force that stops individuals for wearing hoods while walking home from work on a cold night.

Yes you are using this as a means to start rumors. Nothing new there when it comes to your law enforcement drug dealer post. The only thing I can agree on is there are some that is corrupt, but that isn't across the board.

I am not start rumor's, I am telling the truth. Cops are corrupt. Even those who don't do corrupt things themselves, know cops that do and they do nothing about them. That makes them corrupt also.

Springy I don't recollect that happening so maybe you can find an article about it. Do some not all law enforcement do unprofessional things yes I don't disagree with you. There are those that do act professional and save lives. You can't judge unprofessional just due to one's ity. I can assure you I have met some really unprofessional professionals in my line of work. I'm sure 168 can also attest to the fact our law enforcement is professional despite the rumors you are wanting to start.

Then there was a Wilkesboro cop who let his kid dress up like a cop and ride around in a police car. He also was chasing his wife around town with a gun.

LOL, it wasn't that many years ago that North Wilkesboro cops were driving around stealing hub caps. That is pretty professional.

Yes lady m the EMS is professional and they do a wonderful job. Our law enforcement is professional as well they do a wonderful job as well. My point is just that, springy says we need a professional police force due to what he states is corruption. Ok there is corruption in a lot of professional areas right it doesn't make one less professional due to corruption. It's just bad apples in a barrel of good apples. Do I agree that corruption exists yes but I still look at law enforcement as a professional job as I do other professional jobs.

Law enforcement is already professional, like our EMS etc etc..... is there corruption of course but there is corruption in our political arena as well. Springy you do realize that don't you ? I hope we don't have to endure any of your stories about how corrupt our law enforcement is and how you know this and that about them.

I would guess the county commissioners. We just have to get non criminals in that office.

A professional police force could be corrupt , or corrupted .we'd need to keep an eye on them .

I don't believe the sheriff's office is doing their job. I guess it depends on how you define their job. If the sheriff was doing his job those bad judges would be in jail.
