Probably the same way the president of WCC got his job. I heard he was the least qualified of all the applicants. Makes you wonder about WCC, or maybe it's all government jobs, I don't know, but it's not about what you know or what you can do, it's about who you know or whose back you scratch. whyzit? (view profile) | Posted 10:44 pm, 08/26/2015 | If that's true about Pepsi, I wonder how he was cleared for hiring at WCC in that type position? |

Yes he did work for Pepsi and was fired for stealing there too. You would think the college would have found out about that before hiring but then again, his mom has friends in low places. Thanks Myrtle.

I think he did work for Pepsi.
And stealing is stealing. Whoever it is.... He always did get favors because of who his parents are.
It all goes back to her relationship knowing Phil Couch.
His parents did sell the land for EWMS......

Oh and might I add, I've known this family for many years as well and according to his mom her kids never did any wrong. She's always put these boys on pedestal. I'm not trying to be rude about it....just stating the facts.

OK I have tried not to get in on this and replying and someone coming back with some smart remark. Wont bother me if you do because I dont let people get to me like that.
Lets just say if this had been some crack head that stole from a local store everyone would want to string them up. Stealing is Stealing no matter how you turn it.
You might ask do you know him and my answer would be for many years. Mom has always been there to make him look good and I guess she will buy him out of this deal to.
So in a nut shell He is no better than anyone else that has stolen and in a day when education is very expensive and have someone do this needs to pay and pay dearly. Now you can come back with backlash but the point is he is a common criminal and got caught. God was not in it when he was getting these extra funds and being Mr, Big spender. Go ahead and make him look good and try to make me look bad. Again I dont care. Fact is he did wrong and should pay.

Why do you find that greed would be unusual? That is usually the reason for that type of action. Doesn't matter that he is a Chairman of a Dept at WCC or anywhere else. You must be living under a basket.

Do not know Wesley but know his mom and dad as well as his late brother. His mom and dad are fine people. I am sorry for the pain this situation brings on his parents, wife and children. Why did this man feel he was entitled to this money? Why did he proceed with a scheme with which no one could possibly be successful? I'll never understand why people live so far above their means that they are never satisfied. A Always want more and will do whatever to get more.

I have known this man for many years as he refereed both of my children's various sports. NEVER in a million years would I have thought him capable of any crime at all, much less one of this magnitude. You can speculate what drove him to it all you want, but only he & God knows the real answer. I think he needs prayers more than derogatory remarks at this time. He will live with his decisions for the rest of his life, while we all go on with ours and it will be old news in a week.

Definitely not taking up for him nor condoning anything he did, just saying we all draw conclusions but have very little information. People say they know this or that but in reality we can't even take care of our own problems a lot of times.
